2024 Recap- Top Posts, Stats, Books and More!

Books Published

2024 has proved to be a pivotal year for us at Redeemingfamily. After prayer and years of consideration, we made the plunge and began a publishing wing of Redeemingfamily called RedeemingFamilyPress. Our first year of publishing saw 6 books published:

In addition to our newly published books, we also provided updates and new availability options for our popular Family Worship Hymn Book (print copy), and Bible study on the book of Titus (PDF).

Bible Resources

Another avenue of our work is providing individuals and families with hands-on educational materials. In 2024 we’ve produced 5 education resources:

One of the wisest Christians I’ve ever known was a co-owner of a well-respected marketing and information technology company. He once told me that “everyone can show and use statistics, the difference between success and failure in the digital realm is being able to appropriately and accurately use data to tell stories”. He taught me that day that the data “doesn’t speak for itself”, but that individuals reading data will interpret data in such a way as to tell a story. The story our data tells is one of “tremendous, unexpected growth”. As a team the Lord has blessed our efforts together, allowing the resources produced to reach more individuals, families, and churches in more countries and continents than the previous two years combined.

Fun Stats

Below is a smattering of statistics that help to tell some of the story of 2024 at RedeemingFamily.

  • The total number of people visiting RedeemingFamily’s websites has tripled in 2024.

  • In 2024 we got to begin counting visits per month in the thousands.

  • In 2024 more than 50% of all visits to RF websites came from searches (rather than direct links on social media, email, or other referral links).

  • People are finding resources on RF via Google, Duckduckgo, Bing, and Yahoo! Search engines

  • 25% of all traffic to RF websites is from outside of the United States, including Great Britain, Canada, Australia, the Philippines, India, South Africa, Nigeria, Indonesia, Germany, Kenya, Colombia, Ghana, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, the Netherlands, Russia, Ireland, Malaysia and more.

  • The top three most viewed resources in 2024 were our 10 simple hymns, tips for visiting the Ark Encounter, and comments on the Millenium in Revelation 20.

    Thankful

I’m thankful to share that in 2024 our contributors have been through many various struggles, and the Lord has protected and provided, growing us through every valley and challenge. Some of our contributors were in the hospital with grave and dire physical ailments. Some of our contributors were away from home and family for extended times. Some of our contributors have begun the work of planting churches. Some are preparing to move across the world for the sake of Christ. Some have already moved across the world for Christ’s purposes. Some of our contributors have been wrestling through challenging questions waiting on the Lord. And some of our contributors have growing children to look after. Our team of contributors has grown from a few midwestern Americans to include workers from Asia and South America. All of us together make up a team in varying circumstances and backgrounds who are unified in our efforts to serve Christ by providing solid resources to those growing in the faith of our Lord Jesus.

It is a tremendous blessing to be a part of this collective effort of reading, praying, and writing to equip individuals and families. What started as one faithful woman (Amy) prayerfully seeking to encourage other women, has grown into this collaborative team that delivers faithful biblically informed encouragement via books, blogs, and in-person events. 2024 has been a year filled with good work and Christ-like growth and we pray that 2025 will be a year where the Lord will continue to renew our minds for God’s glory.

    Looking Ahead

Looking ahead to 2025 there are several projects in the works we are delighted to collaborate on. Three (of many) projects we are working on and excited about in 2025 are:

    1. A book by Pastor John Kuykendall on the role of suffering in the life of the Christian.

    2. A visual novel of the Donkey Knight illustrated by Andrea Shephard.

    3. A family and children’s curriculum of the Heidelberg Catechism.

May God continue to use us as a team to faithfully and diligently work to equip individuals and families to engage all of life for the glory of God.
